Australia Climate and Visit Timings

The Australia Climate is certainly the one which has the huge size in terms of landmass and the country is the first one to be called an island continent. The country has northern section of the Australia and has a more tropical climate influence with humid and hot summer with quite warm and dry winter. The southern parts are also cooler with mild summers and it has cool rainy winters. The seasons are just opposite in Northern Hemisphere and the winter comes in the just opposite season which is during December and January for the Australia climate while the July and August are of those cold months.

The Southern areas of the Australian continent are found to be more temperature to warm but the summer with daytime temperature is found to be between 25 and 30 Degree Celsius with winter temperatures between 5 and 10 Degree Celsius. The Tasmanian mountains along with the “Australian Alps” which is in the Southeast of Australia have a very typical mountain climate along with the winter becoming very harsh with the highest peak which is usually covered by snow all the year around. The another extreme condition one faces is the condition in desert and bush which is the (“outback”) area in Central Australia with temperature being as harsh at 50 Degree Celsius or more and with rain falling for not many years.

The Queensland is one with significant variation in Australia climate and the low rainfall with hot summers are also typical for the inland west and the monsoon wet season which is far north.The warm subtropical conditions which is around the coastal strip and with weather conditions being different for every land area the extreme temperatures with getting moisture due to rainfall. The Queensland populace experience with two weather seasons and the winter period as compared to northern hemisphere has warm while the summer season is known for winter season.

The Tasmania with cool temperatures and the climate with four seasons and the summer lasts from December to February with average maximum sea temperature with 21 Degree Celsius in the inland areas and with the summer weather patterns taking the shape of winter patterns may confuse a person from Northern hemisphere.

Victoria has an Australia Climate within the Outback which has an arid climate which is considered as a desert with precipitation drops all below 200 mm ( 8 Inches) per year. The semi-desert in the area where the annual precipitation and between 200 and 400 millimeters with 8 and 16 inches per year with several deserts and the Great Sandy Desert, The Gibson Desert and The Great Victoria Desert along with the Simpson desert all the same climate. There are no large cities along with the population density is low and with the north-west coast of Western Australia or the Port Headland has seen a contrast in the weather with the average daily temperature in January and being the hottest month.

So, one could feel great variation in climatic condition in Australia and it affects the vegetation, flora and fauna which is better termed as Mediterranean climate along with tropical climate in most of the part creating great difference in weather patterns.
